Your Age
Guidance that respects where you are in life - not a 22-year-old’s template.
Personal Trainer • Vancouver, BC
Free fitness guidance designed around your body, your lifestyle and your stage of life. From fitness beginners to adults 50+, women’s health, mobility and strength training - tools to build a healthier body and a stronger relationship with movement.
Fitness Shouldn’t Be One-Size-Fits-All.
Age, lifestyle, movement patterns, previous experience, goals and challenges all shape how you should train. Cookie-cutter advice skips that. I start with your story - then share guidance that actually fits the life you’re living.

Guidance For Real People
Meet Sanjeev
I’m Sanjeev Kumar, a Level 3 personal trainer based in Vancouver and South Surrey. I started as a Level 1 coach, earned my way to Level 3, and have served as Manager on Duty at Fitness World - learning how to lead people, not just write workouts.
I’m NASM-certified and keep studying because bodies, hormones, joints and lives change. My aim isn’t to shout reps at you. It’s to share free guidance so you understand your starting point, move with purpose, and feel capable in the body you live in every day.
The Sanjeev Method
We talk through your history, movement, lifestyle and goals before any advice is shared.
We cover the basics: mobility, form, confidence and habits you can actually follow.
Load, skill and capacity increase only when your body is ready - not on a generic calendar.
The aim is independence: knowledge and strength that last long after a conversation ends.
Specialized Fitness Knowledge
Identify imbalances and movement issues, then train to restore better, safer patterns.
Strength that shows up in daily life - lifting, walking, carrying, climbing stairs.
Strength, balance and mobility so you can stay independent as the decades add up.
Training ideas that respect hormonal change, recovery, bone health and energy.
Supportive guidance through pregnancy and the return to movement after birth.
Move with less stiffness and more control - so training and life both feel better.
Practical fueling guidance for plant-based athletes and everyday vegetarian movers.
Sleep, stress and daily habits sit beside training - because workouts alone aren’t enough.
Continuously Learning
Certifications don’t replace listening - they give me better tools to share with the people I support. I keep studying so the advice I offer can be more precise, not more generic.
You need to be heard. Understood. And offered guidance that respects your body, your schedule and the season of life you’re in. That’s the kind of free knowledge I share with this community.
Your history, joints, energy and goals shape the advice - not a template off the shelf.
I stay current with education so decisions are grounded, not based on gym folklore.
Prenatal, postpartum, menopause, 50+ guidance that matches the body you have now.
We think in years of better movement, not a six-week crash that you can’t sustain.
FAQ
No. In fact, that’s one of the best times to ask. I’ll meet you where you are, explain the fundamentals, and share guidance at a pace that matches your body and confidence.
Yes - when it’s approached with care. Strength, balance and mobility are some of the best things we can learn for independence later in life. I’ll share conservative, practical guidance and we can talk through any joint or medical considerations you share.
Yes. I regularly share guidance around joint limitations, arthritis, osteoporosis concerns and mobility challenges. We’ll talk through exercises that respect your joints first, then how to build capacity around them. I’m not a physician - we’ll stay in my lane and collaborate with your care team when that’s appropriate.
Yes. I’ve completed dedicated education in this area because mid-life training is not the same as a generic “fat-loss” plan. I’m happy to share free guidance on energy, recovery, bone health and strength in a way that fits this stage of life.
Yes. Prenatal and postpartum movement is one of my focus areas. I’ll share supportive, educational guidance, listen to how you feel, and help you think about progress only when it makes sense for your body.
I can share practical, educational nutrition guidance - including vegetarian sports nutrition - at no cost. This is not medical nutrition therapy. If you need clinical or medical advice, I’ll point you toward the right professional.
